KASC™ LL

A bottle of Kinahan's Irish whiskey with a black and gold label, clear glass showing the amber-colored liquid inside, and a silver cap with a beige tag.

A softer side of rebellion.

The KASC Project [L.L.] offers a lighter, more versatile take on the groundbreaking Hybrid Cask concept.

As a blended Irish whiskey crafted for a softer, more mixable profile, [L.L.] serves as the approachable counterpart to the bold, full-bodied [B] release — the world’s first Hybrid Cask Irish whiskey.

Unlike its siblings, [L.L.] is not fully matured in Kinahan’s bespoke hybrid casks. Instead, it draws just enough influence to maintain the essence and distinctive character of [B], while delivering a smoother experience designed for broader appeal and mixability.

What is the Hybrid Cask ?

The KASC Project isn’t just whiskey — it’s a radical reinvention of how whiskey flavour is born.

At its heart lies a bold experiment: harnessing the terroir of wood itself to craft flavour from the cask up. Each expression is matured in hand-built hybrid casks, uniquely constructed from five distinct wood types — Portuguese Oak, American Oak, French Oak, Hungarian Oak, and Chestnut.

Every tree tells a story. Every wood adds a layer. The result? A whiskey of rare complexity and depth, where flavours collide and evolve — spice meets sweetness, richness meets restraint.

Four sets of wooden planks with metallic bands, each set painted in different shades of red, yellow, brown, and dark brown.
  • Gentle Hint of pear, lightly smoked tropical and Mediterranean fruits, nutmeg, cinnamon and vanilla.

  • Caramelized mango & tropical fruit, sundried raisins, fig and caramel-expresso.

  • Sweet Cinnamon spice cake with a hint of Vanilla.

  • Deep dark brown.
